The Standard of Excellence course was written by Doris Nixon who graded the assignments and worked with the students on a professional and personal basis for over two decades. Ms. Nixon is a Registered Bridal Consultant and an industry expert who has been quoted and interview through every medium in the US, England, Japan, China and Iran. In 2005 Weddings Beautiful made the decision to allow Doris more flexibility to work the with international division and at that time appointed Nancy Tucker as President of Weddings Beautiful US division. Ms. Tucker began her career in 1997 and has achieved the title of Certified Wedding Specialist. She has been interviewed by numerous industry publications and serves as a panel expert on a wedding etiquette internet site. Several articles authored by Ms. Tucker can be found throughout the wedding internet sites. Ms. Tucker now has the responsibility of grading assignments for all US students.
